Connecting to your data overview

When connecting to your data sources, Zetaris uses a virtualisation first approach whereby we leave the data where it lives, and only register its metadata.

There are four different types of registered data sources with Zetaris:

  • File Sources such as CSV, Excel, XML, JSON, Parquet, ORC, Delta and Avro. Examples of these datasources include AWS S3, Azure Blob, local/network file drives.

  • Logical Datasources include any data source that offers a JDBC API. These typically include relational and non-relational databases (RDBMS and NoSQL).

  • Streaming Datasources

  • REST API connections
